Hotel Monaco breakfast – eight different kinds of jams

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

This very centrally located hotel was just what we were looking for. Hotel Monaco is conveniently located only a five minute walk from the main train station making arrival and travel very easy. The staff here is absolutely delightful and very welcoming. Their English is also very good and they were very friendly towards our American family . They had good suggestions for where to go in Munich and areas that were less touristy.
The breakfast was fabulous and had many options to choose from. The selection of fresh jams is astonishing! Flavors range from raspberry and peach to a fig-kiwi blend. Theres also some great coffee to wake you up, and milk and jucies available as well. Along with the breads and jams, theres also a fantastic fruit salad and selection of dry cereals.
Our family of four stayed in a double size room with a couch that made a bed for two. The price was just right. We would definitely stay there again!

I really enjoyed and love the yummy breakfast here, additionally, because the place is not big enough, later an American couple joined my table, we chat a lot and feel very nice to meet , know and learn from each other. Quite good experieces.

It’s my last day to stay here, nevertheless no any complain from the hotel, I’ll definitely come back again!

We are from california usa.  This is our first time to Germany and we loved Munich. Hotel Monaco was truly one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at.  It was very quaint and we felt like we were staying in someone`s home.

Our room was lovely.  The personalized service we received from the staff was excellent.  The breakfast was incredibly delicious.  It included a wide assortment of cheese, meat, breads, fresh fruit, yougert, cereals, eggs and lots of toppings for our breads. The chocolate chip cherry cake was fabulous. We will definately recommend the Monaco Hotel to all our family and friends and hope to come back in the future:

We stayed at Hotel Monaco for two nights this February.  The accommodations were quite nice.  They staff were very friendly and helpful.  The breakfast was delicious.
While in Munich we walked through the pedestrian area around Marienplatz, took a walking tour of the city, visited the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, and dined at several Bavarian style restaurants.  It was Carnival and the streets were full of people dressed in costume and vendors selling drinks and hot wine.

The weather was cold, but we are from New Hampshire, USA and are used to cold weather.

If you decide to take our breakfast, it´s a promise of mine, you won´t regret it!

Your Christine
