Well this is the first time in Munich and I have enjoyed my stay.  The Hotel Monaco was a great choice because it was close to the train station and walking distance to the Marienplatz. I found Munich rich in history and interesting. They offer a lot of tours that can help anyone get acquainted to the area.  For the single traveler like myself, I found Radius tours an excellent resource to understand the history.  The Dachau Concentration Camp tour was excellent. Our guide gave us a very in depth look at what life was like in the camp.

My first room at Hotel Monaco was very spacious, clean and cheery. I had only one complain because of the street noise. I am a light sleeper so I requested to be moved. I really liked the double bed.  My second room was a little smaller  but quieter. The breakfast spread is delicious and plenty. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and would consider returning again.
