Can I cancel my reservation at the Munich Hotel Monaco without any difficulties?
Principally yes, but just with constrictions. Cancellations should always be made in written form, i.e. mail or fax and have to be reconfirmed by the hotel. The cancellation conditions arranged with the hotel are valid. Normally you can cancel charge free between 7 and 14 days before your arrival date. There are longer deadlines for cancelling reservations during trade fairs, congresses, the Octoberfestival and big events in Munich. (Approximately 4 weeks) If we can’t let the room to someone else you have to pay 80% of the normal rate. (Normally, according to the law it is 90%)
But be sure that we’ll try everything possible to let the room again, so that there will be no costs for you.Please believe that we don’t feel good about charging money for a cancelled room.
As a security you’ve got the possibility to apply for cancellation insurance. You can find that option on our homepage on the online reservation page.
We can tell you at the earliest if there will be costs for you, on the day after the cancellation.
Naturally we will only charge the price for the room itself. There will be no costs for the breakfast.
Hopefully you understand our point of view, because we as well have to plan. Furthermore we keep the hotel room free just for you.
