Where is the Hotel Monaco location in Munich?

This hotel is located very central in the heart of Munich/Centre close to the main train station, the pedestrian precinct and the October-festival
 
You don’t need a car or the underground, in just a few minutes you can reach the October-festival by foot directly from the Hotel.
The location of the Hotel Monaco is perfect. It is based in the centre of town, close to the main train station. It doesn’t even take 5 minutes to get to the Stachus, the Karlsplatz in Munich. There you’ll find a broad range of shops. From there it takes just 10 minutes to reach the heart of Munich, the Marienplatz with the Old and the New Town Hall. This place is the perfect spot to reach all the important buildings planned and paid by the kings for example the “Residenz” or the “Hofgarten”.

It is also an ideal spot for your visit of the trade fair centre, because it is just a comfortable 20 minute tube ride to get there. Especially if you prefer a low cost shared room, the Hotel Monaco is the right address to go to.
 
How to get to the Hotel from the main train station:
The hotel is very easy to find. If you are travelling by train, you need to get off at the main train station. With your back facing the rails, turn right direction exit Bayerstreet. Now you have to turn right and walk a few steps till you reach the traffic lights. There you have to cross the street, the Bayerstreet. Now you are in the Schillerstreet. After 150 meters the Adolf-Kolping-Street bends off left on the left side of the street. At the corner Schillerstreet/Adolf-Kolping-Street you can see the sign “Hotel Monaco” on your right hand side. If you’ve got lots of luggage ask a baggage porter to help you. This costs you 6€. It is not worth taking a cab, because the route is too short.

Enjoy the culture in Munich.
That is not at all a problem if you are staying at the Hotel Monaco. The Museums, for example the Pinakotheken or the Lehnbachhaus can be reached by foot. Or you use the underground or the S-Bahn from the main train station. You can reach every exhibition or concert very easily by public transport. You can get to the October-festival from the hotel by foot, without any difficulties. During summertime you can also find many beer gardens – the traditional Bavarian way to enjoy a freshly tapped beer – close to the main train station in Munich.
