How to get to the Munich Hotel Monaco from the airport?
The cheapest solution would be the S-Bahn, which leaves directly from the airport. It would be reasonable to buy a day ticket for 18 € which is valid for the whole public transport network and up to 6 o’clock the next morning. Up to five people can use it together. The S1, direction Ostbahnhof takes 45 minutes to the main train station. The S8 direction Geltendorf, which leaves at the same platform as the S1, takes 41 minutes. A cab would be the more comfortable but also the more expensive alternative. From the airport to the main train station it takes, considering that there are no traffic jams, 45 minutes and costs around 57€. (August 2009)
