Botanical Garden (Botanischer Garten)
The Botanical Garden Munich-Nymphenburg is one of the most outstanding botanical gardens in the world. It stretches out over a surface of 22 hectare and the 400 000 visitors per year have a lot to explore. Around 14 000 kinds of plants can be found. In the greenhouses you can go on botanical journeys to subtropical rainforests, to damp-tropical areas or to hot deserts. In the centre, near the rose garden a self-service café can be found, which is worth stopping for a little break.Back to Munich glossary
