Hotel Monaco Tip: A visit to the Marienplatz
Hotel Monacos video tip: Munich’s Marienplatz
On this video you can see the most famous square of Munich: The Marienplatz, the true heart of Munich. The most phantastic builiding here is the New Town Hall with one of the greatest attractions of the capital; The carillon, with its 43 bells and 32 copper figures. In the middle of the square you can see the Mariensäule/Mary’s Column and in front of the Town Hall the Fischbrunnen, both belong to the most favourite meeting points. At elven o’clock and at five in the afternoon you can watch and enjoy the carillon.
For our soccer fans: the balcony of the Town hall is the place where our players of the FC Bayern go to celebrate with their fans if they have won either the german championchip or the european one.
