Hotel Munich glossary: Alter Peter

Alter Peter (Church of St. Peter), located at Rindermarkt 1, is the oldest parish church in Munich. The interior is decorated with old master pieces from 6 centuries!  If you want to have the best viewpoint of the city - come here – and climb up the 306 steps of the tower  to come to the top of the church. Hard work - but it is worthwhile and you won’t regret it.
The church is just between Marienplatz and Viktualienmarket.
